What the Hidden Score measures
The Hidden Score asks one question: how unlikely is a typical visitor to Switzerland to already know this place? It combines Wikipedia readership and language coverage, tourism-board prominence, travel-list mentions, commercial tours, Reddit visibility, distance from the main tourist routes and how hard the place is to find. Missing signals stay unknown.

No. It's a one-time payment. Updates to the Swiss places database are included at no extra cost.
How do I open the map on another device?
Sign in with the email address you paid with. We send a one-time link — no password needed. The same link restores access if you lose it.
Are these places really unknown?
Some are genuinely obscure; others are well known locally but rarely reached by international visitors. Every place shows its Hidden Score, so you can judge for yourself — we don't call everything a secret.
Why don't you show the exact location of some places?
Some places are fragile: protected moors, wildlife areas, private land. For those we show only the region and the official way in, for everyone, including buyers.
